It is a good program. I really enjoyed working with the children at the orphanage. Accommodation was fine and the food was really very good. Shake Hands staff was very friendly and helpful. Orphanage Child Care 

In the city of Jaipur there are several orphanages in very strong position, which have been run by private trust/societies. But government orphanages are not in good conditions. They lack manpower. With our program we seek to assist the orphanage in helping the children. The volunteers will participate in the daily routines and can contribute with many things, just by being caring and affectionate in the work with the children.

The volunteers will work with the children from 0 to 6 years old. There are also groups of mentally challenged children; the work will especially be with the mentally challenged, because this is where the Orphanage staff seriously needs help. Mentally challenged children need special care and attention, but the Orphanage does not have enough manpower to provide this.

Volunteers will assist the Orphanage staff and contribute with special attention to the children.
