Women Empowerment
A major part (60%) of
population of India resides in the villages. The situation of these
villages is very worst and undeveloped, residents are backward and
uneducated; among them women’s are the most sufferer as they do not
have any knowledge and awareness for health, nutrition and hygiene.
Due to illiteracy and unawareness the women are not aware of their
health problems, nutrition and hygiene and sometime due to these
factors they get into many problems like high-risk ailments, high rate
of child mortality, permanent disabilities STD, HIV & AIDS which all
ends up the life.
Our organization have started various campaigning and awareness
programs among these people by educating them and giving general
awareness to improvise their living through “Women Empowerment
Program” with the support of volunteers. Volunteers are encouraging
these women to get educated up to the extent that they may easily
perform their day by day activities and to make them aware about the
general health, hygiene and nutrition for their children and for
themselves. In addition to this we also encourage them for proper
vaccinations and preventive measures for various diseases including
HIV and AIDS. Volunteers also help out in organizing free health
checkup camps in the villages to provide them consultation, medicines,
vaccinations, contraceptives etc. so that they can avail the
facilities and get benefited.
