Jaipur volunteer program India
With the international volunteers, we are working on several volunteer
programs in rural & urban areas of Jaipur. The orphanage child care
and street children program is only in the city limits of Jaipur,
rest all programs are in rural locations within range of 25 kms from
outskirts of Jaipur city. The accommodation for these entire
programs will be provided at Jaipur city.
Jaipur the capital city of the northern Indian state of Rajasthan is
one of the most vibrant and colorful cities of India. Around 4.5
million people reside in Jaipur District. Jaipur is a vibrant and
colorful city, where you find a mixture of traditional roots and
impact of modern globalization. Traditionally, the state of
Rajasthan is the city of kings and this is why you find great forts
and palaces everywhere. The pink city, which Jaipur has been named,
is no exception. Forts, palaces and Havelis are to find several
places; especially in the old city, which is surrounded by pink
walls, hence the name.
Food & Accommodation
You are provided accommodation in volunteer’s home
established by the organization with perfect setup. The volunteer's
home is fully residential with some modern and traditional
arrangements. The home is furnished with TV, DVD, Refrigerator,
Music System and other entertaining gadgets with sufficient vacant
space for celebration and spent leisure time. There is a facility of
3-4 sharing rooms with western toilets. During summer season the
rooms are cooled with AC system. The team serves quality Indian food
prepared by expert cook to the volunteers in the home itself.
Basic Itinerary
Day 01 (Saturday) Delhi Arrival
Arrival in Delhi, pickup and depart to Jaipur, 5 hours journey
by road
Day 02 (Sunday) Jaipur Arrival & Orientation
Program orientation and free for individual activities
Day 03: (Monday) Volunteer work
