Skills for Independence: Our Rural Initiative
Sankalp’s Women Empowerment Program is a long-term initiative dedicated to providing young women in rural Jaipur with the tools for self-reliance. We operate community-based centers that serve as safe spaces for learning and growth.
Our curriculum focuses on English communication and IT literacy, which are vital for securing modern employment. Beyond academic skills, we facilitate workshops on self-defense and health awareness to build confidence and situational safety.
Since 2006, this program has helped dozens of women transition into independent roles within their communities. We believe that by educating a woman, we uplift an entire family.
How This Program Works
This is a permanent Sankalp initiative managed by local staff. We ensure that our impact is sustainable and culturally respectful.
We operate out of dedicated centers within rural villages near Jaipur to reach those most in need.

Providing hands-on training in tailoring, handicrafts, and basic computer literacy.
