This volunteer work abroad experience will give you an opportunity to make a difference in the world and someone's life, while the travel will lead you to discover India. Grass root volunteering with a purpose and travel with a premium cultural tour program within the affordable price, are the main features of this program.

Volunteer Work Travel Combined Volunteer Program

This volunteer work and travel programoffers two weeks of volunteering followed by one week of travel. During the initial two weeks, participants will actively contribute to volunteer work in India, specifically working with the Street Children Education Program at our Jaipur location. Additionally, there will be opportunities for weekend travel.The final week of the program involves exploring culturally vibrant destinations across India, allowing volunteers to deeply immerse themselves in local customs and heritage, enhancing their understanding of India.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in India (Thursday)

Upon your arrival at Jaipur airport, you will receive a warm welcome and be escorted to the volunteer house.

Day 02: (Fri) Orientation

The following day, an orientation session will introduce you to the program and its objectives.

Day 03 - 04 (Sat - Sun): A Journey to Taj Mahal!

On Saturday, you will embark on a journey to Agra, where you'll stay overnight. The highlight of your visit will be a tour of the breathtaking Taj Mahal the next day morning.

Day 05 - 09 (Mon - Fri)

Engage in volunteer work throughout the weekdays.

Day 10 - 11 (Sat - Sun): Safari Adventure at Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve

Experience the thrill of a Tiger Safari at Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve National Park, including an overnight stay. The following morning, embark on an exhilarating jungle safari.

Day 12 - 16 (Mon - Fri)

Continue your dedicated volunteer work during the weekdays.

Day 17 - 18 (Sat - Sun): Exploration of Pushkar

Set out for Pushkar after breakfast. This sacred Hindu pilgrimage site is renowned for its Brahma Temple, offering a unique cultural experience.

Day 18 - 19 (Sun - Mon): Discovering Jaisalmer

Check into your hotel and explore the enchanting Jaisalmer Fort in the evening. The following day, witness the sunrise at Gadisar Lake, followed by a tour of Jaisalmer attractions and markets. In the afternoon, venture into the Thar Desert.

Day 19 - 20 (Mon - Tue): Desert Adventure and Camel Safari

Embark on an afternoon visit to a desert village, where you will enjoy a camel ride to Sunset Point and sand dunes. Experience the essence of Rajasthan by spending the night in mud huts, interacting with locals, and enjoying cultural performances.

Day 20 - 21 (Tue - Wed): Exploring Jodhpur

Travel to Jodhpur and, if time permits, explore local markets in the evening. The following day, visit Mehrangarh Fort before checking out from the hotel.

Day 21 (Thursday)

Commence the journey back to Jaipur which typically spans 5 to 6 hours. Upon arrival in Jaipur, expected around 9 pm, you are free to pursue individual plans.

Requirments

Age Limit - 17 Years +

Qualification - Volunteers must participate in this volunteer work and travel program with an open mind, giving heart, and flexibility to work with different age ranges of children.

Living

Arrival and airport Transfer:

We offer flexibility for your arrival, allowing you to land at any time of day, be it Jaipur airport. Our team will coordinate your pickup accordingly. Upon arrival our designated driver will be waiting for you at the airport arrival point, displaying your name. For those already in the country or arriving early, we also provide pickup from a specified location in Jaipur.

Accommodations:

the Work and Travel program volunteers are provided comfortable housing at a Volunteer house in Jaipur. This residence is meticulously maintained for hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring a cozy home away from home. Equipped with amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, television with OTTs, western toilets, hot showers, and comfortable bedding, the accommodation guarantees a pleasant stay. During all weekend excursions, accommodations will be arranged in good star hotels on twin or triple sharing basis.

Orientation:

On the day following your arrival, you will undergo a comprehensive orientation session conducted by our team. This orientation covers essential topics such as local culture, greetings, geographical landmarks, transportation, and other pertinent details outlined in your volunteer program itinerary.

Meals:

Experience the rich diversity of Indian cuisine, celebrated worldwide for its flavors, during your volunteering journey. Meals specified in the itinerary will be provided at the volunteer house. Breakfast options include bread, boiled eggs, toast, tea, jam, butter, and porridge. For lunch, volunteers can enjoy a variety of dishes including lentils, vegetables, Indian bread, rice, yogurt, and paneer curry.

Free Time Activities:

During your free hours in evening you are free to explore local markets and savor the array of Indian cuisines at various restaurants in Jaipur. Immerse yourself in the Pink City's charm and partake in additional activities such as yoga lessons, ayurvedic spa treatments, cooking classes, and Bollywood dance sessions.

You have the opportunity to commence the Volunteer Work & Travel Program on every 2nd and 3rd Thursday of October, November, December, January, February, and March annually, spanning a duration of three weeks.

Application Fee: USD $250.00

You need to pay booking amount $250 in advance to secure your spot on Work and Travel Program and start your online preparation and this is non-refundable but valid for life time.

Remaining Program fee: USD $1245.00

The remaining fee must be settled at least two weeks prior to your arrival in India. This fee covers your lodging, transportation, tours within India, and additional amenities. Please refer to the list below titled "What's included?" for a detailed breakdown.
