Volunteer Training
At Sankalp, we make safety a high priority for all our volunteers and staff members who join our program. Our programs have been running since 2006 and we have had the great joy in welcoming hundreds of volunteers.
Health and Safety while Volunteer Programs in India
Sankalp make sure that we are happy and safe without being over bearing and controlling which is nice. We have curfew after 10pm but this is purely for your safety and I think reasonable. They have good hearts and genuinely care about their volunteers, children and the success of the programs.

Volunteer Safety
You can trust us as we have extensive experience in caring for and protecting all our volunteers. We provide safety within the house, transportation that's provided by us, at the program locations, and we're always ready for any emergencies that may arise while volunteering. We do not conduct any program that could jeopardize the safety of any volunteer or staff member in any possible way. We have had hundreds of volunteers within the age group of 16-65 years, with a maximum of 30 volunteers at the house (Jaipur), with no miss-happening to anyone in our program. In order to continue our priority and contract with safety, our organization maintains very set rules and regulations. We ask you to join our program with adherence to the set rules and respect them appropriately for your own and others' personal safety.
Health
We take health and safety precautions seriously at Sankalp. As with any foreign country, there are many precautions and preparations needed to be taken before leaving your homeland. Please see some of our health tips provided on our website, through our FAQ, volunteer manual, and by asking plenty of questions before traveling to volunteer with us. Another important, easy tip to follow is look up the CDC website for international health guidelines and requirements before your departure.
